These people were convinced that the Paradise Earth meant no technology beyond that of the old west. The Elder actualy yelled at me to shut up and was shaking visibly and told me it was dificult for him not to hit me.

I am 17% Witness according to this. Hmmm. That seems like a much higher score than I would like. It was nice for the survey results to conclude that I have a bad attitude and rebellious spirit. I haven't been told that since my last meeting with the Elders years ago. Ah the good old days.

When I quoted from the World Security book as proof that the WBTS suggests that humanity may spread throughout the galaxy I was told the words on the page did not mean what they said. When I asked the Elder I was arguing with what they did mean, he said that he did not need to be taught by me and that my argument had driven his wife to tears.

At present it is true that no other planet can sustain life. What some scientists invisage is teraforming other planets. The Science Fiction books, Red Mars, Green Mars, Blue Mars is a trilogy about making Mars fit for humans. Fiction now but reality sooner then we think.
When I was a Witnes I used to argue that after the Thousand Years were through humanity would spread throughout the galaxy. You could not believe the anger I encountered from other Witnesses who were convinced that technology is evil and we would all llive like the old west in the 1800's after Armageddon.
I still maintain that humans will spread throughout the galaxy, the only downside is since living forever in paradise is nonsense, I will not be there to pilot the space ships.
